So state of the game plotting things!

Hey guys,

So I've noticed a lull in the game's activity and I don't want it to die. I was thinking that while we have a great setting we're not doing much more than just reacting to the night events. I want to try and possibly set some player plots up or something.

Stiles here is going to want to try and set up some sort of refugee camp up during the day. He's got some food and now he's going to start grabbing things like tents, blankets, pillows, anything he can grab to set up some almost hobo camp during the day. I'm thinking of putting up a post probably Tuesday of him setting things up. People can either add to it, ask him about it, idk. Maybe we can plot something from there.

As for night he'll want to pick a building and start exploring out. Finding anything out about where they are, who is the mayor, are their police, etc etc. I guess I have to poke mods about this. But if anyone else wants to help him or has found anything out or would like to get involved, I know I'd like some meta plot.

So this is me plotting in general. I suck but here you go.

Going forward + Future plotting

Sorry for disappearing, guys. Work threw me a curve-ball and I was not prepared at all. The AC for this month has officially ended, but since I've been absent during the course of it, if you missed AC but still want to play, just let me know.

I've noticed that we've been slow lately. I'd love more suggestions on how to get things going, and what you guys have liked, things that have worked, and things that haven't.

On that note, for the next few Night posts, I'd like to try out something a little new: living nightmares. You can each pick one nightmare that your character has, and each night going forward, everyone else will experience that.

Say, for example, that it's Morgana's night. Her greatest nightmare is being discovered as a sorceress in Camelot. The setting, of course, wouldn't be Camelot, but the people will react in the same way. There will be a general agreement amongst the NPCs that magic is bad, and anyone who practices it should be put to death.

Moreover, all characters during Morgana's nightmare will suddenly have her magic. However, they won't know how to control it. Even those who may already be skilled in their own forms of magic in their own worlds will be baffled by their new abilities. Running around in a world that hates magic with magic that you can't control? Now that's scary.

Finally, because this is Morgana's personal nightmare, she will somehow be emotionally linked to everyone else around her. If they are within a few feet of her, even if they're not directly interacting with her (so your character could be a street down with no knowledge that she's even there), whatever she feels will be magnified 2x in them. If she's anxious, your character will suddenly feel extra anxious. If she's afraid, your character may suddenly (and very much literally) become paralyzed with fear.

There will be one thread to list your character's nightmare if you wish to participate in the plot. Otherwise, feel free to use this post to plot away with others!

✦ Activity Checks occur the first week of each month. Only comments made in the previous month (July) will count.

The purpose of today's post is to discuss NPCs. What are your thoughts on having a few more defined NPC presences? (Maybe a mayor, someone who is head of the most prominent gang, etc...) all NPCs would only appear at night (for now...) and people of authority in the city, and would be more or less available-upon-request type thing. They would most likely not be able to answer any of the big questions (what's going on, where are we, what is the meaning of life) but may also be able to help with smaller, night-to-night interactions (sheriff helps fight a monster, prominent business man helps get you a job, etc.)

Would you like NPCs, and if so, which ones would you like to see, or not have to deal with them at all?

Hi guys,

I'm Kimmie and I've picked up Lucrezia

pontificus but haven't I tried her yet because health problems and rl suckage, plus I'm waiting for her bro to show up.

So bear with me for like a week with her or so.

But meantime have Stiles Stilinski from Teen Wolf. He's from the end of s3 so he was just an evil spirit and kind of a little shaken up because of... Everything. He's a stupid teen boy who has dealt with horrors and supernatural things. He flails a lot. But he's good at plans. Usually. So long as they aren't contingent on Scott's plans.

Umm. Not sure what else to put here but hi.

Oh and I have plurk if people want to plot things.
